SHOCK IT UP
In 1989 the Noble Prize for Medicine was awarded to 3 American researchers for discovering the metabolic pathway the body uses to produce nitric oxide: L-Arginine and Citrulline Malate separately or in combination create nitric oxide via a metabolic process called “Nitric Oxide Synthase”.
Nitric oxide is also created by a second and complementary pathway called “the nitrate-nitrite synthase” pathway. Beetroot is widely recognized as a primary food to trigger the second metabolic mechanism to produce nitric oxide. Unfortunately as we age these pathways create less nitric oxide. Shock It Up was designed to respond to age-related inability to produce nitric oxide.
Shock it up is a nitric oxide blend which comes in powder form. Our proprietary nitric oxide blend is unique as it balances, in appropriate amounts, clinically proven ingredients such as the amino acid L-arginine, citrulline malate, and beet root to produce nitric oxide. Shock It Up was designed to respond to age-related inability to produce nitric oxide. But it also contains pomegranate, a powerful antioxidant to help protect nitric oxide production. Completing the formula Shock It Up contains the amino acid Taurine. Taurine is a recognized ingredient in energy drinks but unlike energy drinks Shock It Up does not contain caffeine or artificial sugars but rather stevia, a natural sweetener. A recent study published in Science, a highly regarded peer reviewed journal, concluded that “Taurine deficiency is a driver for aging”.
Apart from taurine, Shock It Up adds pomegranate the chemicals of which have been studied for their effects on vascular health and inflammation. Also included in Shock It Up are vitamins C, B-6 and B-12 protecting nitric oxide production from free radicals which can damage Endothelium wall cells.
In short, Shock it Up is a Nitric Oxide producer and a powerful antioxidant protecting Nitric Oxide production.
In formulating Shock It Up. We asked ourselves a very simple question What makes shock it up SHOCK IT UP? We decided to simplify the answer for you by breaking it down into 3 pillars which we put on our label.
